Crieff Market Park Saved

Finally the Market Park in Crieff has been saved from the lunatic plans of the directors of Crieff Highland Gathering Limited.

What started in 2004 as Grassicks Folly, Turek Towers or Frank Duncans White Elephant, has met its end.

Turek, Grassick, Duncan, McWilliam et al were all amazed that anyone else living in Crieff could possibly object to their Master Plan after they announced it in 2004. Turek postured in the local press as authority figure of a secret sub sect of the "Games Committee" who had decided the future of the towns Market Park.

A public meeting convened in Crieff High School saw the strength of objection to the proposals by the people of Crieff, and the abject cowardice of the board of CHGL, who sent a couple of "womenfolk" to assess the local feeling.

Original Crieff Retail Study

Crieff Highland Games Future in Doubt...

Oh not again please!  Paul Turek, the original Chairman to have his strings pulled by property developer Spencer Cooper, has once again been whinging over the decision by Perth and Kinross Council to stick with the people of Crieff and protect the Market Park , approving the adjoining site of Duchlage Farm for a new retail park development.

Crieff Highland Gathering have bleated this same cry since the breathtaking arrogance of their original proposal was challenged by all right thinking people.

And STILL they bleat on.  Get over it Paul, plan the Games, enjoy the day, and accept the lack of any more goodies from Spencer Cooper.
